The Dude came home from school last week and announced that he and his cousins had made the front page news. So here they are at a snow survival program geared for kids. They learned how to use a compass, build snow caves, make snow shows out of trees and other basic survival skills. They all had a good time. Afterwards there was a lot of sledding, hot chocolate and smores.
During this week we grandpa, aunt, uncle and cousins all out having a good time. We walked around a lake and drove up into the mountains behind our house. What a view.
The boys constructed two snow forts and played for hours in them. The week flew by to quickly but it was a lot of fun.
