On Thursday, the Dude had his first informance. For this he played the r
ecorder. They have a book they have worked through called recorder Karate. We were very proud of him. He didn't start playing until January and he passed up some of the other third graders. He did a great job. They played some great songs. He really has an ear for music. The Dude can listen to
something and play it on his violin, the piano and the recorder. Next year they will continue the recorder and also do the keyboard. One of the kids played the theme song from Harry Potter on the piano. Hopefully The Dude will learn something like that also.
