Hawk Exhibit

The Doctor's brother is very interested in Falconry so when the Doctor's intern said that there was an exhibit at the art fair we had to go. The Doctor's brother wasn't expecting live birds but that was what was there. There was a barn owl, a smaller bird and a bald eagle. Their stories were all very sad. The birds are part of a rescue project and can never be released in the wild as they would die of starvation. The Eagle was found with her wing impaled on a tree in Alaska and can no longer fully use one of her wings. It was a great exhibit. They were taking pictures with the Eagle for only $10 with as many as six people. The kids were so excited to have their picture taken with the Eagle.
