On Friday we went to Granby for the kids to Trick-or-Treat so

me businesses. THe dude was scream, the Princess was a gymnast witch and her friend was a vampire witch, the Napster was a veterinarian, Cute Stuff was a Princess and Daisy Duke was a witch (she also went trick-or-treating for bones). We didn't think to bring hats or gloves so we had to stop early as the kids were all freezing. We then had dinner and went to the kids school Carnival. They had a lot of cute games there and a free picture booth. Naturally the kids all did their pictures. A c

ouple of the classrooms also had trick-or-treating. The Dude and the Princess

went around with their friends while we took the other two around. On Saturday the kids had a Halloween party where there were about 40 kids. We split them into age

groups and they played games. The Dudes group decided that they were too old for games and so they played Guitar Hero. The y

ounger kids had a monster egg hunt, played pin the eye on the monster and did foam crafts. The Princesses group played mad libs, charades, and did foam crafts. After all of this t

hey had snacks and then we had two pinata's. We split the kids into two age groups. One of the dudes friends had to bust open the younger kids pinata after everyone had a turn. We lined the older kids up with boys last according to age. The princesses friend who was second broke the pumpkin in half on her s

econd swing. The boys were all bummed that they didn't get a chance. Everyone left quickly after that and we had a peacefully quiet house. I am ver

y thankful to the moms who stayed and helped. We made dinner and then took al of the kids except the princess (who went with a friend) to Cooper Creek Square for some more trick-or-treating. It was much warmer and there were no complaints. We followed this up with a street of houses and then went home. I was glad that we b

ought pretzels for treats as no one came to our house. Although busy I think the kids had a very fun Hallowee

n.
