O Christmas Tree

On Saturday after all of the kids left my Dad and his wife came up and we went a few miles behind our house to hunt for the perfect tree. The girls did great in the beginning no complaining and really having a good time. That is until we drove back a little ways to a meadow to find a tree and the sun was on its way down. I followed my Dad and the Doctor who were on a mission with the Dude. When they hiked up a hill I took the girls to a sunny spot as they were getting cold. This worked for about two minutes when the older girls were very cold and Cute Stuff started crying. So I hiked back to where I had left the guys and hollered for them. Of course they couldn't here me so then I tried to text the Doctor and of course he didn't answer. So the girls and I hiked to the car and guess what, the Doctor had locked the car so we couldn't get in. After several attempts to call him we hiked back to where we left him. By then all of the girls were crying and frozen. We found the Doctor who says his phone only rang once got the keys and sat in the car while they went back out. The girls watched Disney on my phone while Cute Stuff got into everything. About 20 min later the Doctor, Dude my Dad and his wife came back with 2 perfect trees. The best part is they only cost $10 instead of at least $100. In reality though the best part was spending time with the family. We came back and had hot chocalate and Spaghetti with homemade meatballs.
