Yeah I know I am slow but hey what can you do? So the doctor started off the w

eekend by showing his brother and my family the joys of the song United States of Whatever. Which they (the Doctor and his brother) now say all the time. We had a great fourth of July. We started out with the largest fourth of July run the Freedom run in Evergreen. It was a very hard 5k as a good mile of it was up hill after the first 2 miles at 7600 ft. Even though I run at about 1200 hundred feet higher my hills are a lot more gradual sooo I made it about a quarter of the way up the last hill and then walked until I reached the top. My first mile was 9 min, my second as we started some

hills was 11 min and my last 1.1 mile was 17 due to the walking. The runners were my Uncle his Daughter, the Doctors brother, my Dad's wife and myself. The walkers were my Dad and my oldest sister. Those who ran the whole way (cpmgratulations by the way) were my Uncle with a time of 30 min and my Dad's wife with a time of 32 min(you guys are tough. Maybe next year we will all make it). The Doctors bother and I who walked some of it finished with a time of 37 min and my cousin finished shortly after that. It was a very long and exhilirating if not tiring run. The great

thing is after the race there were all sorts of booths set up with food, drinks and samples. The best booth was the free massage booth for runners and walkers. It was great. After the run we had a barbeque with friends and family. After that we played wii at my Uncle's and then on to the longest slowest fireworks show ever. The

girls, the Doctor's brother and I all fell asleep. The show lasted fifty painfully slow minutes. On the bright side it is the closest we have ever been to a fireworks show. There were ashes floating down around us. The following day all but the Doctor (who had to work) relaxed.
Here is an example of one of the better parts of our fireworks.

Just thought I would share one more pic with everyone. This is wh
at Daisy Duke does if I go running or biking without her. I think I am officially caught up, until next time.
Congrats on your run! It looks like you guys had tons of fun on the fourth!! We miss you! (YEAH WHATEVER!) hee hee hee
